6th Annual Reiter Foothills Clean-up
Sunday, October 4, 2009

Meet at the lower parking area (gravel pit)  at 9am for briefing. Garbage bags and lunch provided for clean-up volunteers!

All off-roaders are encouraged to participate! Dirt bikes, quads, and 4X4s (mild to wild) are welcome.

Reiter Foothills is located east of Gold Bar in Snohomish County, just off of Hwy. 2.

Come show the State DNR your support of off-road recreation in the Reiter area!

David Way from the Department of Natural Resources is planning a work
party at Reiter on Sunday, September 13th, 2009 at 9:00am. ?He needs
lots of volunteers. ?He would also like somebody with access to heavy
equipment to donate time, see below. ?If you donate time with
equipment, it is tax deductable and David will provide the necessary
forms for the IRS.

Work Party at the Reiter Foothills

This work party will be involved in stream restoration on the Middle
Road leading in to the Upper Staging area under the BPA power lines.
The DNR is looking for people to help install fencing, signs, erosion
control products, etc?

The DNR is also looking for a ~10,000 lbs mini excavator for the 13th
and a small dump truck (5 yard) to haul rock later in the month of
September. ?For the dump truck, dates are still flexible.

Folks that would like to help can meet me in the main gravel parking
area off Reiter Road at 9 AM. ?If anyone is willing to donate
equipment, please have them contact David Way at 360-333-5741.
