This is our first time at this event, will be bringing a 5th-wheel trailer. Are generators allowed? Is it first-come, first-served for camper trailer space? Is there always enough room for all campers? Thanks!
Just a thought, please take your kids out of your vehicles during the start.
Kids like to honk horns and most cars can honk with no keys.
Does everyone just line up for the campsites in the morning or do you want to be there the night before? Is the family poker run easy enough for a beginner? No campfires even in a fire pit?
Barry - The gate will open at 6 AM on Friday, 4/4. Once you have paid your gate fee and signed the waiver you will pull into a HUGE field, a large portion of which will be designated for event camping, there will be arrows and signage pointing you in a general direction but it basically comes down to first come / first served the area is huge but pulling in late friday night or Saturday morning requires patience while looking for a spot but there will be one trust me…
The family poker run is suited for all abilities short of a first time rider, it’s not the place or time to “learn how to ride a motorcycle”…
ABSOLUTELY NO CAMP FIRES, PERIOD! When you get there you will understand, it is a tighly packed RV city with literally thousands of gallons of fuel in cans and motorcycles everywhere…. one misplaced spark caught in the wind could be disasterous….
hi im wondering if charcoal grills will be permitted???
I know theres no riding there but, can you ride around the camp just as way to test out your bike befor the poker run?
i never been there. can a stock bike make it 1 lap on a tank of gas or do you advise the desert tank? cr 5oo is my ride…
does the race start as 1 big line up or do they pair off at the start of the 100 race?
