On October 31st 2009, while racing the 24 Hours of Starvation Ridge Kevin Parks passed due to injuries from a crash.
Kevin was a 3 time Overall Champion of the Desert 100 as well as claiming overalls at many other races. As said by many, Kevin was much more than just a racer and he will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
A “Celebration of Life” will be held at 1pm at the Suncadia Lodge in the Ballroom on Saturday, November 7, 2009 . Open to all who would like to attend in memory of Kevin.
